Showgirls in the shadow
Winner of the “MAC Photography and Digital Art Show”
Judge Sean Hughes had this to say about this piece. "So much of this image shares a space and time with Henri Cartier-Bresson: the long cast shadows; implied movement from darkness to light; the pair of dancers mimicked by the pair of pigeons—both caught in the light that creates the shadows. The mystery of the dancers hidden behind feathers (another curious homage to the pigeons) walking towards… what? This lack of information creates curiosity in the “mind’s eye,” even dissonance for some. Even in color this image would work beautifully. Like so many of Bresson’s images, it is all about the decisive moment, and this photograph captures that moment."
This custom gallery framed print measures 30x22 Inches and is a 1 of 1 singed piece.
